Terry Byrd Web Design was originally founded in 1998 by Terry Byrd as a small web design and consulting firm. This site is a small collection of creative work representing simple, visually engaging, and cost-effective results Terry Byrd Web Design produces and delivers for clients in the greater Knoxville, Tennessee area and beyond.

Terry founded Terry Byrd Web Design while developing websites as Web Architect at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. He began by taking on small outside projects while studying Information Sciences at the University of Tennessee. After completing several small sites for friends and clients, he launched Terry Byrd Web Design as a creative outlet in 2003.

After more than 20 years in the web business, Terry has become a strong advocate of simple design and believes it stands out from the information overload of our modern society. A simple, clear and focused site creates interest in the message without overwhelming users with presentation.
